Next fitting the neck.
10 coats of lacquer and lots of elbow grease polishing, it's starting to look good.

Time to go back to the Tele type, coat of lacquer, now just a week for it to dry completely, then a gentle sand and polish.
So, laid some lacquer down on my LP project, looks good, so good in fact that I don't think I need to sand and polish it. Getting to the point now where I can think about hardware.
So, this was the second guitar I built, was an experience to say the least. The colours and shape were chosen by my son as this was built for him, turned out not to shabby. The paint job is based on the 1960's British Mini Cooper S, British Racing Green and silver, he's a big Mini fan.
So, fingers are on the mend so I thought I would start working on the Nebula Guitar, oh, and have some really good coffee.
My fingers wont let me make anything at the moment, but during this down time I have been playing with designs, watching a lot of Sci-Fi at the moment so it had to be a design in keeping with films like Barbarella & 60's 70's films, so heres my finished item, I will build on over the next few months to see how it plays and feels.
